Henna Tattoo Aftercare Instructions
To maintain your henna tattoo’s vibrancy and longevity, follow these steps:
Leave the paste on for 4-6 hours: Let the henna dry completely before removing it. Avoid touching or smudging the design during this time.
Gently scrape off the paste: Once dry, carefully scrape off the paste with your nails or a credit card edge. Avoid rubbing to prevent fading.
Avoid water for 24 hours: Do not wash or expose the tattoo to water for the first 24 hours, as this can affect the color.
Avoid sunlight and heat: Protect your tattoo from direct sun and high temperatures (e.g., saunas or hot showers) to prevent fading.
Avoid exfoliation: Don’t use exfoliating products near the tattooed area, as they can cause premature fading. Consider using an oil or balm to protect it while showering.
This will help your henna tattoo last longer and stay vibrant.
Jagua Body Art
Safe and Natural JAGUA
All JAGUA used is Always 100% Natural and free from PPA and other toxic ingredients. This Jagua Temporary Body Art Ink is also made with only 3 Ingredients… Jagua Juice, Natural Xantham Gum and water
Jagua is a tropical fruit that grows in the deepest and most remote areas of the Amazon.
The natural dye is extracted from the unripe fruit and used for many purposes by indigenous people throughout Central and South America, especially for body adornment.
Jagua creates realistic, temporary blue-black tattoos and should not be confused with "black henna," which contains the toxic chemical PPD (p-Phenylenediamine). Unlike harmful synthetic “black henna,” Earth Jagua is an all-natural, safe product. Used for centuries by indigenous people in the Amazon, Jagua produces tattoos that gradually fade as the skin exfoliates, leaving an indigo blue stain similar to traditional tattoos.
Jagua Safety and Allergy Information:
Caution for Tropical Fruit Allergies:
If you have an allergy to tropical fruits like pineapple, papaya, or kiwi, it is strongly advised to consult with your doctor before getting a Jagua tattoo.
Allergic Reactions to Jagua:
An allergic reaction to Jagua may appear as a dense rash of hard red bumps. This reaction could resemble those caused by PPD (p-Phenylenediamine) or black henna.
Unlike PPD or black henna, the allergic reaction to Jagua will not cause permanent scarring.
How to Treat the Reaction:
The rash can typically be treated as any other allergic rash, using anti-itch creams or Cortisone.
Important Reminder:
Before attempting any treatment for an allergic reaction, it is crucial to consult with your healthcare professional for proper advice and guidance.
